Melana Barnett

Melana is a RVT here at Great Plains Vet. She is also responsible for managing our inventory. She has worked in a veterinary hospital since she was 16 years old, and considers it her life‘s calling. She graduated with her veterinary science degree from Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City.

Melana was born overseas and has lived all across the country. Settling in Oklahoma where she attended school, Melana now lives in Luther with her son and husband to be. Outside of work she keeps busy with her three rescue dogs, two Appaloosa horses, and one barn cat, with hopes of expanding into cattle and goats. And don’t be surprised if you spot her on the local trails either horse back or on a mountain bike!
