Taylor Avery

Taylor grew up in Kokomo, IN and found her love for animals at an early age.  Much of her childhood was spent outside enjoying nature or out at the barn riding and caring for the horses.  Her passion for the horses brought her to Oklahoma in 2017 after she graduated from Indiana University with degrees in Animal Behavior, Biology, and a minor in Psychology.

Much of her professional background in the equine industry comes from Lazy E Ranch where she helped sale prep yearlings through the Fall and foal out mares in the Spring.  She still spends much of her free time at the barn, riding her Thoroughbred, Chace, and playing with her husky mix, Sam.  Taylor came to Great Plains in May 2020 as a receptionist.  You can always almost find her at the front desk to greet you and your furry friends when you come into the clinic or on the other end of the phone when you give us a call.
