Caitlyn Slawson

Caitlyn is from Luther, Oklahoma where she first found her love for animals and nature. As a little girl, her favorite activity was to explore outside in search of new furry creatures to call her friends. From those experiences stemmed an interest to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She graduated as Valedictorian from Luther High School in 2016 and in May 2018 she began shadowing Dr. Heatly. Later that year in August she took her current position of veterinary assistant here at Great Plains. Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys spending time at home with her family. She still loves nature and being outdoors, especially to go on walks with her husband, son, and their dog. She is very happy to be a part of this staff and excited to see what this year brings to the clinic.
